HR Director - Nielsen
Rizza is the Country HR Director for the Philippine Market at Nielsen. In this role, she partners with the Business Unit Leaders in building the overall strategy for the business. She is accountable for driving the development and implementation of end-to-end strategic HR.
Rizza spans over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, subdivided into exposures in various facets of HR, from talent acquisition to separation. She gained competencies in the areas of HR Business Partnering, Change Management, Labor and Industrial Relations, Recruitment, and Talent & Organization Effectiveness Management, covering Performance Management, Succession Planning, Career Development, Training and Development, both in a local and regional capacity.
She joined Nielsen from Johnson & Johnson International where her scope included management of end-to-end Performance and Development, Learning and Development, Employee Engagement, Culture Building, and Health and Wellness, impacting not only J&J Philippines but the Global Services in Manila as well. Moreover, she acted as the lead and adviser of the Employee Relations Council and was also assigned as the Head of the Health and Wellness Council for the entire Philippine enterprise.
Prior to this, Rizza also had a good stint in other FMCG companies like Kraft Foods Philippines and Avon, where she took on various HR roles with primary focus on HR Business Partnering, Talent and Org Development, and Change Management Leadership. At the onset of her career, she joined the banking industry.
Rizza is a passionate advocate of building a culture of high performing and engaged teams through creative and strategic interventions as she believes that this will drive the overall effectiveness of an organization.
She completed her Bachelor in Science Degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University and took up her Masters in Business Administration at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
